Champion is a partner of Pink Ribbon Cancer Foundation 2009
Champion continues to support the cancer foundation in the Pink Ribbon campaign.
Champion Northern Europe has again signed a new agreement as a partner to the Swedish Cancer Foundation regarding the “Pink Ribbon campaign” for 2009. They have also signed an agreement with the Finnish Cancer foundation.
- Champion would again like to support the important cancer research and give hope for the people who are suffering from breast cancer, and for their families, says Ralph Mühlrad at Champion Northern Europe AB.
About 7 000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer and approximately 1 500 dies from the disease each year in Sweden.
Champion is market leader of Sport Bras in Sweden and Finland, which is a central product in this campaign.
The company have given exclusivity on the special designed Champion garments with the Pink Ribbon symbol to the leading sport chain in Sweden, namely Stadium.
The Champion Pink Ribbon collection will also be sold at the largest mail order and e-commerce company in Scandinavia, namely Ellos, as well as at NK Department Store in Stockholm, Stockmann Department Stores in Finland and Viking Line.
Champion and the retailers will together donate 20 % on the sales price of the Pink Ribbon products to the Swedish Cancer Foundation and the Finnish Cancer Foundation.
